Memory Scrapbooking

May and June remind me always of graduations and weddings. These events can be in individual albums or with the children's graduations in their own albums. Usually high school and college graduations are in their own memory scrapbooks, unless with these two graduations, you want to do a single smaller memory scrapbook.

Whether the graduations are from preschool, high school or college, these can not be passed up. Friends of children can move away or change schools. Friends and relatives are so important to children that remembering their friends or relatives through scrapbooking will keep their memories alive for the children with all their pictures, embellishments, stickers and journaling will be a treasure always remembered. Bring your young children to help you scrapbook their special days and help you verbally with the journaling and putting on stickers. Your children will be excited to be able to help you and be involved. Even the boys need to help with the journaling by the time Junior High and High School graduation are scrapbooked. You will keep their memories alive in scrapbooking their school memories.

Wedding and anniversaries are abundant in June to scrapbook these special days. These are events spent with family, friends and relatives. With the advent of portable cameras left at tables, there are numerous pictures to choose from to scrapbook these special celebrations. If someone else does the scrapbooking along with the journaling, then the journaling will come from someone else’s perspective which is always nice to read and receive. The special memories and moments of anniversaries and weddings will never be forgotten by scrapbooking memories.

I wish back 21 years ago that scrapbooking was here so I could have scrapbooked my two children who are 18 and 21.
